Sciaranuova Festival 2025 – “Inclined Planes”
Three shows, three visions between theatre, music and wonder
Once again, beneath the volcano, the vineyard becomes theatre. And it does so with the ninth edition of Sciaranuova Festival, which returns in summer 2025 with a new and evocative title: “Piani Inclinati,” or Inclined Planes, an expression that suggests oblique trajectories, sudden slips, delicate instabilities. It is also an invitation to let oneself be transported along “zig-zag” paths between art and thought. All this in the inimitable setting of the Sciaranuova Estate, on the slopes of Mount Etna: a natural amphitheater immersed in the Planeta vineyards, created to unite culture and landscape, art and sustainability. Since 2015, Sciaranuova has been the beating heart of a unique cultural project in Sicily.
In an age of uncertainty, where balance always appears precarious, theatre once again becomes a tool for interpreting the movements of the soul and the world. And it is music – in particular the keyboard in all its forms – that is the main actor of the performances on the program: whether electronic, light or cabaret, music accompanies every scenic tale.
