The name Repertorio 1694 comes from a dual connection: on one hand, music — an art of harmony and time that has always been part of the Planeta family’s imagination — and on the other, the year 1694, when the Planeta family put down roots with the acquisition of Ulmo, the first of their estates. Like a musical score, each bottle represents a note in a story that spans centuries, territories and generations, conveying the richness and complexity of Sicilian wine. In the Repertorio, inside the Cantina di Dispensa in Menfi, older vintages rest as witnesses to time and to the evolution of Planeta’s winemaking vision. With this new project, a space that was once reserved for few opens to the public via a digital platform that provides access to wines, oils, special packages, limited editions and collectible bottles. A living archive that allows direct contact with the history and production philosophy of the Planeta family.
