floreali restyling alastro terebinto plumbago

Flowers have always been part of the soul of these wines. Long before appearing on the labels, they lived in their names.

Planeta Floreals

Sustainability as a filigree

Alastro, Terebinto and Plumbago come from a precise botanical imagination — one that speaks of fragrance, immediacy and balance. Wines that express Sicily through a clear and recognizable floral dimension.

The restyling of the labels starts from this idea: not to change the identity of these wines, but to bring it back together. A process of refinement that gives clarity to the story and coherence to the visual language.

Today the flower returns to the center, essential and recognizable. Even the materials — paper, glass, weight — become part of the message, through a concrete choice in favor of sustainability.

Same inspiration, new harmony. The Planeta Floreali now finally speak one language.

In the Planeta Floreali, sustainability is not a label — it is a filigree, visible only to those who look closely.

It begins in the vineyard, where all Planeta vineyards are farmed organically: a way of working that protects soil life and preserves biodiversity, season after season.
It continues through a measurable commitment within shared initiatives such as SOStain, because sustainability gains value when it becomes a method. And it reaches the place where the greatest margin for improvement exists: packaging.

Our Sustainability Report shows this clearly: a significant part of the overall footprint is linked to purchased materials, especially packaging. For this reason, we chose to act here — reducing bottle weight, increasing the percentage of recycled glass (now over 90%), and adopting the “100% Sicilia Bottle”, produced from locally collected recycled glass and manufactured on the island.

For Planeta, sustainability can be summarized in a simple — if unscientific — principle: everything that is beautiful is sustainable.
