The first Olive Oil Community in Italy has been established in Menfi, as part of a national project promoted by the Associazione Nazionale Città dell’Olio. The initiative brings together municipalities, producers, and cultural organizations committed to enhancing extra virgin olive oil as a driver of sustainable development and a key element of local identity.
Planeta is among the first olive oil producers to join, having signed the Charter of Commitments for Sustainability and Well-being and obtained the “Olive Oil Community” certification.
