On Monday, June 16, the Buonivini winery in Noto will become a stage for crossovers between wine, contemporary art, and territorial storytelling with the event Wine is a Contemporary Story.

Promoted by Planeta, the event aims to move beyond the boundaries of traditional wine tastings to become narrative, performance, and vision. Among vineyards, almond trees, and site-specific artworks, guests, artists, and professionals will engage in an open dialogue on wine as a cultural expression and a language of the present.

It will be a collective moment of reflection on the future of winemaking, where experiences and perspectives will come together to shape the first outlines of a possible Manifesto of Contemporary Wine.

Program

The morning will begin with the first talk, Contemporary Wineries, dedicated to those who have chosen to open the doors of their wineries to contemporary art, transforming production spaces into places of culture. Speakers include:
Roberta Ceretto (Ceretto), Arturo Pallanti (Castello di Ama), Tiziana Frescobaldi (Marchesi Frescobaldi), Alessio Planeta (Planeta).

In the afternoon, the focus will shift to taste, style, and the glass itself. During the talk Contemporary Wines and More, the discussion will revolve around natural wines, dealcoholized wines, new beverages, and evolving ways of producing and communicating contemporary wine. Speakers include:
