On October 5–6, 2025, Planeta will take part in Vinitaly USA, held at Chicago’s Navy Pier. The event brings the excellence of Italian wine to the United States, with our winery among the key participants.
We will be present at stand ISWA H30/34, showcasing our wines as an expression of Sicily in this prestigious international setting. During the event, our Santa Cecilia 2022 will be featured in the guided tasting led by Sarah Heller, Master of Wine since 2017. In addition, at the Consorzio DOC Sicilia exhibition space, our La Segreta Nero d’Avola and Cerasuolo di Vittoria will also be poured.
On Sunday, October 5, Alessio Planeta will moderate the Wine2wine panel: “From Critic to Sommelier: Mastering Italian Wine with VIA Benchmark Wines”, with speakers Stephanie Johnson DipWSET & IWE and Torrence R. O’Haire IWE.
