Wineries open to the public are:
- Cantina dell'Ulmo at Sambuca di Sicilia
- Cantine at Dispensa and 'della Segreta' at Menfi
Because of its particularly delightful setting and with its 16th century farmhouse, Ulmo is the most popular winery for guided visits and tastings. Since the summer of 2006 it is also possible to select and buy wine.

The wineries at Buonivini at Noto (Siracusa) and Dorilli at Vittoria (Ragusa) can be visited only by special request and at certain periods of the year.
How to arrange a visit:
All guided visits and tastings must be pre-booked and confirmed 2 days previously. To arrange this send a request by email to visits@planeta.it, or fax to (+39) 091 6124335, indicating the day, time of arrival and number of people who wish to visit.
Opening times:
from Tuesday to Saturday (except public holidays) from
9.00 am to 3.00 pm.
Allow the following travelling times to reach us:
- from Palermo, 1 hour 20 minutes (SS624 Palermo-Sciacca)
- from Palermo airport, 1 hour 20 minutes (A29)
- from Catania, 3 hours 30 minutes
- from Taormina, 4 hours.
